Before Creaholic: As a student, I developed an automation production line for a watch company. I was a teacher at the XXX school in Biel/Bienne. I taught math, physics, chemistry, sport and skiing.

Origin: Swiss. I grew up helping out in my family’s watch company from age six. I have an American wife so our family is multi-cultural.

Hobbies: I love water in many variations. Crystal form in winter for powder skiing, liquid form in summer for sailing, waterskiing and swimming and most heavily diluted for drinking in the evening. It’s best with family and friends around.

Favourite project: I’ve worked on over 100 projects at Creaholic and I don’t have a favourite. However, I do like the fact that our Bonewelding technology has already helped over 1000 children.

Inspirational icon: Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr.). He made boxing more like dancing. His pre-match speeches made his opponents knees shake before even entering the boxing rink.

Favourite place: Simply on the top

Languages: Swiss German, German, French and English

Nobody knows: As a child, I found it odd that my parents chose my name and not me. When I started school, I told the teacher that my name was ‘Bjnam’. She wouldn’t call me Bjnam so I told her to call me Mars! This stuck and to family and friends I’m still Mars.
