Elmar Mock nominated for the 2010 Gaïa Prize
The renowned Prix Gaïa is known as one of the watch industry’s most coveted honours for research, originality and creativity. It was created in 1993 by the Musée international d’horlogerie with an aim to honour prominent figures for their contribution to the reputation of watch making. It's the only prize of its kind and is recognised for honouring the best of the best.

The Jury for the 2010 Gaïa Prize nominated Mr Jacques Muller and Mr Elmar Mock as winners of the craftsmanship-Creation category in recognition of their innovative solutions that enabled the development of the original Swatch watch.
