SAIA’s motors are used to guide and control the air vents in the acclimatisation system within cars. Because of significant progress in noise absorption and much quieter combustion engines, things like the noise of motors in the acclimatisation system have become much more apparent. Our project had two goals - one was to find ways to reduce the noise of these motors and the other was to optimise the gearing. As a result, we developed a smart fastening technology which was integrated into the injection moulding process. |
