WoodWelding SA was founded together with GPI in 2000 to refine and commercialize a technology developed as a pro-active Creaholic incubation project. The WoodWelding® technique uses ultrasonic energy, in combination with thermoplastic elements, to form bonds in porous materials. WoodWelding SA has successfully commercialized the technology in several industrial fields, including furniture manufacturing, and has pursued the extremely promising use of the technology in medical and healthcare as well. |
