What it covers
“Thou shall give more feedback” is a commandment that is frequently heard, especially in leadership circles. And indeed, numerous studies over the past years have shown that the majority of employees desire more frequent feedback on their work — not only from leaders, but also from colleagues and customers. But when does feedback go from simply sharing an opinion to becoming an effective tool?
Many companies recognise that feedback is a powerful instrument for personal growth and increasing employee engagement. However, only a few leaders and teams have truly grasped how to provide and receive feedback in a valuable and actionable manner while avoiding the pitfalls that can turn feedback into routine.
Giving feedback is something that needs to be not only learned, but also practiced. Therefore we keep the theoretical part of this training short and sweet so we can dive right into the practical exercise. The training provides an opportunity for you to assess your own practices within a friendly environment of peers where you can learn from one another.
